My research portfolio is broad: I've studied methods and contributed to research projects in not only anthropology and psychology, but in economics, sociology, Latin American studies, medicine, and global health.
Other interesting projects that I worked on at the University of Chicago and Northwestern University included:

Designed and conducted a survey-based study at the University of Chicago hospital, working with chronic pain patients to explore the relationships between physical symptoms, social support and psychological stress.
Worked as a clinical researcher for a major federally funded study at Northwestern Medical School, investigating mental health and health behavior over time for (former and current) inmates in the criminal justice system.
Worked with African immigrants in the Chicago area to understand cultural interpretations and experiences of migraine headache, comparing these to Western/ U.S. based understandings found in the medical literature and community groups.
Worked as a research analyst for a University of Chicago study of pediatric palliative care and parents’ coping strategies.
Contributed to experimental research in behavioral psychology and economics, in joint studies between the Business School and Psychology Department.
Helped create a published English-Spanish-Aymara dictionary.
